September 2 1 Day is the 35th anniversary of Shenzhen University. The four founders of Tencent, Ma, Zhang Zhidong, Xu, donated RMB 350 million to their alma mater, Shenzhen University, on behalf of the alumni team of Tencent founders, and established the Shenzhen University Talent Fund. Among them, Ma donated 200 million yuan, Zhang Zhidong, Chen Yidan and Xu each donated 50 million yuan. The talent fund will be used to encourage professors and graduates from Shenzhen University to study abroad.
