Chongqing Vocational College of Chemical Technology is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher learning sponsored by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and undertaken by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission and Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission. The College was formed by the merger and reorganization of Chongqing Workers College of Chemical Technology and Chongqing College of Chemical Medical Technicians. 1964. There are two campuses in Jiangbei and Changshou, covering an area of 638 mu, with more than 2000 students/kloc-0. Jiangbei Campus is located in the national 4A scenic spot and the Guanyinqiao business circle urban tourist area in Chongqing. Changshou Campus is located at the foot of Bodhi Mountain in Chongqing Changshou Bodhi Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone, a national 4A scenic spot, adjacent to Chongqing Changshou Bodhi Ancient Town Cultural Tourism Zone, Changshou District Government and Changshou North Railway Station.
