1, employment industry:
Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, information transmission, software and information technology services, manufacturing, construction, water conservancy, environment and public facilities management, graduates of Nanjing Forestry University are all involved in these industries, which are also industries in urgent need of talents at present, and the prospects are very optimistic.
2. Employer:
Graduates work in state organs, institutions and well-known enterprises at home and abroad. Among the undergraduate graduates who go to work in enterprises, there are many well-known enterprises at home and abroad, such as Fortune 500, China Fortune 500, Toyota Motor Corporation and China Post Group Corporation, which have large development platforms and many opportunities.
Second, the teaching staff.
The school has a team of high-level teachers. There are more than 2,350 faculty members, including 1.630 full-time teachers, 263 doctoral supervisors and 1.076 senior titles. At present, there are 2 academicians of China Academy of Engineering, 9 double-hired and distinguished academicians at home and abroad, and more than 20 other national talents.
Third, teaching construction.
The school has 49 first-class professional construction sites above the provincial level, including 3 1 national first-class professional construction sites and 6 national characteristic professional construction sites. Forestry major and forestry engineering major were selected as the first batch of reform pilots of outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan of the Ministry of Education. 1, Feng:
Academician of China Academy of Engineering, a famous scientist and academic leader in the field of ecological environment in China.
2. Xu Fengxiang:
A famous ecologist, the founder of China's plateau ecological theory. He used to be an associate professor at Nanjing Forestry University, a professor at Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry College, and aided Tibet 1978. He used to be the director of Tibet Plateau Ecological Research Institute, founded Beijing Lingshan Ecological Research Institute and served as the director.
3. Wu Jukui:
1984 used to be deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Southwest Forestry College, and later served as vice president. 1998 retired. He is currently the director of the Expert Technical Advisory Committee of Yunnan Provincial Forestry Department and a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Provincial Planning Commission.
