Henan Agricultural University is a key university in the agricultural field of Henan Province, which has made important contributions to promoting agricultural science and technology innovation and talent training. According to the plan, Henan Agricultural University plans to change its name to Zhongyuan Agricultural University to further enhance its influence and competitiveness in the agricultural field.

There are many problems with the name of Henan Agricultural University. First of all, the name Henan lacks radiation, and it gives people a magnificent feeling from the Central Plains. Secondly, the concept of agriculture is too broad, and it should be combined with specific majors. Therefore, our school's ace professional animal medicine is displayed directly in the name of the school to attract more people to apply for it.

The name "University" should be deleted to meet international standards, and a more professional name "College" should be adopted, following the example of London and Imperial College London. In order to highlight our accomplishment, the word "occupation" should be added in front of the college, so "Henan Agricultural University" should be renamed as "Zhongyuan Vocational College of Animal Medicine".
