Zheng Dongping, a special inspector of the State Post Bureau, believes that couriers not only have long overtime hours, long outdoor working hours and high traffic risks on the road every day, but also face many embarrassment such as lack of labor protection and infringement of personal rights and interests:
First, the signing rate of labor contracts is low. If you don't sign the contract, the enterprise can terminate the employment at any time, and at the same time, it also relieves a lot of responsibilities and burdens, and undoubtedly the rights and interests of the courier will be infringed.
Second, social security benefits are low. Because it is a hidden rule not to pay social security, it is difficult for couriers to enjoy legal treatment such as medical insurance and social security except piece-rate wages, let alone high-temperature subsidies, smog allowances and cold-proof outdoor equipment.
Third, the lack of labor contracts and work-related injury insurance makes it difficult to identify work-related injuries. As a courier and other practitioners, we should also learn to protect ourselves and protect our rights according to law.
