Zijingang Campus is a modern, networked, landscape and ecological university campus. Because it is adjacent to the famous and ancient Xixi scenic spot, the magnificent and beautiful Zijingang campus is worth visiting. Zhejiang University was founded in 1897, formerly known as Qiushi Academy. It is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by the people of China.
It is one of the first key universities to enter the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project". Zhejiang University has seven campuses: Zijingang Campus: No.866, Tang Yuhang Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou; Yuquan Campus: No.38 Dazhe Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou; Xixi Campus:No. Tianmushan Road 148, Xihu District, Hangzhou; Huajiachi Campus: No.268 Kaixuan Road, Jianggan District, Hangzhou; Zhijiang Campus: No.565438 Zhijiang Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou.
Introduction of Zhejiang University: The school was founded in 1897 as a college. It is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by China people themselves. 1928 was named National Zhejiang University. 1937 moved westward, running schools in Zunyi and Meitan, and 1946 moved back to Hangzhou in the autumn.
From 65438 to 0952, some departments of Zhejiang University were placed under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other universities, and the main part was reorganized into several universities in Hangzhou, which later developed into the original Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University. 1998, four universities with the same roots merged to form the new Zhejiang University.
