Students from the third school refer to students from technical schools (technical schools), technical secondary schools (secondary specialized schools) or vocational high schools {vocational high schools/senior vocational high schools (hereinafter referred to as vocational high schools)}. The purpose of students applying for undergraduate courses in three universities is to meet the needs of society, and college graduates must continue their studies. The proportion of college students who choose general education (students 15%) is far from meeting the actual requirements of students. Strict policy requirements make it impossible for more than 85% college students to continue their studies in accordance with general education. In order to meet the needs of students, the national education administrative department has specially set up an applied independent undergraduate course to provide learning opportunities for college students. Application-oriented undergraduate course belongs to the category of national unified examination enrollment, which occupies the enrollment quota of national general college entrance examination (pay attention to the difference between independent undergraduate course and China in self-study examination). Application-oriented undergraduate education belongs to a higher level of technical education and is an important part of higher vocational education in China. It is relative to ordinary undergraduate and higher vocational education. It is different from ordinary four-year undergraduate and higher vocational colleges.
