College students' honesty consciousness, honesty behavior and honesty quality are related to the formation of good social customs, the construction of a harmonious socialist society and, to some extent, the future of the Chinese nation. In order to shoulder the historical mission of building a well-off society in an all-round way and socialist modernization, college students must consciously strengthen the construction of honesty and morality, and regard honesty as a noble pursuit of life, excellent behavior quality and the fundamental criterion of standing in the world.

(1) Honesty is the basis for college students to establish their ideals and beliefs. A person without good integrity and morality cannot have firm ideals and beliefs. A person who doesn't speak honesty at ordinary times can't make sacrifices for lofty ideals and beliefs at critical moments. Only by cultivating the moral quality of honesty and trustworthiness can college students be truly loyal to the cause of the country and the nation, and firmly establish the ideal and belief of taking the road of Socialism with Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and striving for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation for life.

(2) Honesty is the premise of college students' all-round development. Only by focusing on honesty and trustworthiness, strengthening ideological and moral cultivation, stressing honesty and morality, matching words with deeds, doing things sincerely, being upright, matching words with deeds, consciously correcting attitudes and abiding by moral norms can college students continuously improve their ideological and moral quality, scientific and cultural quality and healthy quality, and realize all-round development.

(3) Honesty is the passport for college students to enter the society. The normal operation of the socialist market economy requires everyone to be honest and trustworthy and abide by the contract. The construction of democracy and legal system requires members of society to abide by the law and trust each other. Only by establishing the credit consciousness and moral concept based on honesty and trustworthiness, "being proud of honesty and trustworthiness and being ashamed of forgetting righteousness", and striving to cultivate the excellent quality of honesty and trustworthiness, and laying a moral foundation based on modern society, can college students become all kinds of high-quality talents and undertake social responsibilities and historical missions.
