1 East China University of Political Science and Law
East China University of Political Science and Law is the first batch of higher political science and law institutions established in New China. 1In June, 952, with the approval of the East China Military Commission, the law departments, political departments and social departments of nine universities including St. John's University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Soochow University, Xiamen University, Hujiang University, Anhui University, Shanghai University and Aurora University merged, and East China University of Political Science and Law was established in the former site of St. John's University.
