Fu Mingjian is from Nanjing. At present, he is the director of the Instrumental Music Teaching and Research Section of the Art Department of Yangzhou University, the director of the Guzheng Research Office of the Art and Engineering Research Institute of Yang Da University, the member of Jiangsu Musicians Association, the vice chairman of the Guzheng Professional Committee of Nanjing Musicians Association, the director of the Beijing Guzheng Research Association, the vice chairman of the Hong Kong Guzheng Association, the deputy director of the Preparatory Committee of the Guzheng Society of the Chinese Music Association, and the consultant of several literary and art societies. Main achievements: composing and adapting dozens of Zheng songs, which are widely circulated. His main work "Ode to the Soul of Grass-Writing Poems of Bai Juyi" is praised as a freehand brushwork, and has won music creation awards in East China and Jiangsu Province successively. Based on my 30-year playing and teaching experience, I have compiled many practical teaching materials, such as "Elementary Guzheng" and "Guzheng Teaching Notes". He has published Zheng Yun, Zheng Textbook and Zheng Xinyun-35 Popular Zheng Songs (1995 was nominated as a collection of songs by the Nanjing Municipal Government of Culture and Arts). He has published more than ten professional papers and music criticism articles, among which the masterpiece "A Preliminary Study of History" is regarded as filling the gap in the study of Zheng history. Its vivid teaching image combines knowledge, artistry and interest, and many students won the first and second prizes in national, provincial and municipal instrumental music competitions and guzheng professional competitions. His personal performance is exquisite and rigorous, combining rigidity with softness, with profound connotation, drawing on the strengths of many families, and has won high praise in large-scale Zheng art activities such as national Zheng music concerts. He has been invited to hold academic lectures and performances on guzheng in Shanghai and Nanjing for many times. Because of his outstanding achievements in guzheng teaching, theoretical research, guzheng music creation and performance, the organization of the first competition and the improvement of musical instrument production, he was successively hired as a judge of the first Yunnan Guzheng Competition, the China Children's Post Cup Guzheng Invitational Competition, the China Traditional Guzheng Music Invitational Competition, the 1998 China National Musical Instrument Making Competition, the organizing committee member of the multi-ring national Guzheng academic conference and the academic committee member.
