Southwest University of Political Science and Law has six law schools, among which Civil and Commercial Law School, Economic Law School, International Law School, Law School and Administrative Law School are key undergraduate courses, and there are three applied law schools. The courses in several law schools are the same.

The six law schools have the same majors, the same treatment and the same objective conditions, all of which are randomly assigned, and the teachers and professors in universities are the same.

However, if some universities are divided into first, second and second-level colleges, they will be allocated according to the scores of the college entrance examination. In fact, which law school to assign to, if required, is a human factor.

Southwest University of Political Science and Law is located in Chongqing, a municipality directly under the Central Government in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China. It is the earliest institution of higher political science and law in New China. After the reform and opening up, the Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government established the first batch of national key universities and the first batch of excellent legal talents education and training bases, and entrusted the China Municipal Government to train scholarship institutions for overseas students. The second phase of the basic ability improvement plan for colleges and universities in the central and western regions was selected into colleges and universities.
