1. College mainly undertakes the task of training teachers of basic education in Shenzhen:

The college actively explores a new mode of running normal education in comprehensive universities, and implements a management system of unified leadership, resource sharing, complementary academic advantages and high degree of autonomy in business; Take ideological quality education as the guide, deepen education reform, and strengthen five educations of Putonghua, computer, foreign language, speech and calligraphy; With the goal of "cultivating outstanding teachers in basic education and professionals who can engage in related professional work", we will realize a wide-caliber, multi-directional, major and minor training method and credit system. The college respects students' civil rights, advocates equality between teachers and students, free dialogue, distinctive personality and independent thinking, and creates a "harmonious and energetic" college spirit. At present, it has trained and transported 1 173 normal graduates, 6 junior college graduates and 52 non-normal graduates for Shenzhen. Many graduates hold middle-level and above leadership positions in primary and secondary schools; The college pays attention to the cultivation of students' educational practice ability, and has established 14 educational and scientific research practice bases, including 5 provincial educational practice bases; The College pays attention to educational research, and has set up four research institutes, namely, educational science, literary creation, calligraphy and mathematics, and three centers, namely, comparative education research, psychological research and consultation, and China contemporary literature creation and research. While insisting on scientific research, actively participate in and guide the basic education and curriculum reform in primary and secondary schools, and provide vivid teaching cases for undergraduate education.

2. College undertakes the task of talent training and social service in Shenzhen.

In 2002, the comprehensive education department was established to be responsible for the on-the-job training and cultivation of college teachers. It has undertaken the task of continuing education for about 90% primary and secondary school teachers in Shenzhen, and trained more than 50,000 primary and secondary school teachers in the past three years, including 0.80 for distance education courses, 9 180 for new courses and 37,570 for professional training.
