Yang-en university is located in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. The school was founded by the Yangen Foundation 1987 founded by Mr. Wu Qingxing, a patriotic overseas Chinese, and his family, and approved by the State Education Commission as a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning. 1988 is run by the Fujian provincial government. In order to meet the needs of the national education reform, since July 1994, yang-en university has been a pilot project of China's education reform, which is independently run by Yang En Foundation. It is the first private university in China with the qualification of issuing national undergraduate diplomas and granting bachelor's degrees. In 2008, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with good results, and became the first private university in Fujian Province to pass the undergraduate teaching level evaluation.
According to the school situation in official website and yang-en university in June, 20 15, there are 8 colleges, 5 directly affiliated departments, and more than 30 undergraduate majors, covering seven disciplines: economy, management, literature, law, engineering, science and philosophy. The school covers an area of more than 2000 mu, and the campus is surrounded by mountains and waters with beautiful scenery. There are advanced digital classrooms for synchronous recording and multimedia language classrooms, and various professional laboratories such as graphic design laboratory (Apple computer room), audio laboratory and computer monitoring laboratory, large-scale simulation practice base and practice teaching base are set up inside and outside the school. There are 7670 full-time undergraduates and 422 teachers.
