The School of Architecture of Southeast University, formerly known as the Department of Architecture of National Central University (National Nanjing University, Nanjing University), was founded in 1927 and is the birthplace of modern architecture in China. 1952, the national colleges and universities became the Department of Architecture of Nanjing Institute of Technology; 1988 became the Department of Architecture of Southeast University; In 2003, it was established as the School of Architecture of Southeast University.
