Tibet University is 2 1 1. According to official website of Tibet University, Tibet University, alias Tibet University or Tu, is a comprehensive university directly under Xizang Autonomous Region. It is a national "2 1 1 project" key construction university and a world-class discipline construction university. In September 2004, it became a university jointly established by the People's Government of Xizang Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education. The history of Tibet University can be traced back to the training course for Tibetan cadres founded by the troops who entered Tibet in 195 1, and it has gone through the development stages of Tibet Military Region cadre school, Tibet local cadre school and Tibet administrative cadre school. 1965 and 1975, the school was upgraded to Tibet Normal School and Tibet Normal College.
