Shenyang Agricultural University, referred to as Shenyang Agricultural University for short, is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, and is a national key university jointly established by Liaoning Province and the central government. It is also one of the key universities in the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions, and the first batch of pilot universities in China for the construction of new rural development research institutes.
Introduction of Shenyang Agricultural University:
The school was founded in 1952, which was formed by the merger of Agricultural College of Fudan University (except tea major) and Shenyang Agricultural College. On June 1985, it was renamed as Shenyang Agricultural University, and Comrade Deng Xiaoping personally wrote the name of the school.
As of June, 2022, 1, the school covers an area of 10246 mu, with more than 6,240 mu of land for scientific research. It has 16 colleges, 4 teaching departments (centers) and 58 undergraduate majors. There are 8 postdoctoral research stations, 1-level discipline authorization point for doctor's degree 10, and 2-level discipline authorization point for master's degree10.
There are 3 first-level disciplines, 3 national key disciplines, 3 key disciplines of the Ministry of Agriculture, 7 first-level disciplines of colleges and universities in Liaoning Province, 27 key disciplines in Liaoning Province, and 1 disciplines before ESI; 5 national characteristic majors and comprehensive reform pilot majors, 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center.
At present, there are 783 teachers 19793 students/kloc-0, including full-time undergraduates 13467, full-time postgraduates/4464, full-time doctoral students/89 1, part-time postgraduates/97 1 and international students/25.
