Admission principle: Candidates of national second-class athletes who have passed the special physical education test of Guizhou University will be selected according to their culture on the premise that their cultural achievements reach the control scores of the second batch of undergraduate courses in their provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), and the scores of special physical education tests will be sorted from high to low.

The Department of Physical Education of Guizhou University was established in 2005, which was formed by the merger of the former Guizhou University and the former Guizhou University of Technology. At present, it is one of the largest physical education departments in colleges and universities in the province.
