Shanghai University Postgraduate Holiday
Shanghai University adopts a three-semester system different from other schools. Undergraduate students are divided into Spring Festival, Autumn and Winter semesters, each semester lasts for three months, and there is a summer semester in the middle, which is only over one month, and it is specially used for undergraduates' off-campus practice. Graduate students don't have summer semesters. On the surface, the biggest difference is that there are three final exams a year. There was no final exam before the Chinese New Year, and it will be half a month after returning to school. Summer vacation is usually 7-8 weeks, and winter vacation is 4-5 weeks. However, it has little impact on graduate students, because they only attend classes for one year and have no classes for the remaining two years. The time is completely arranged by the tutor and controlled by himself. As for May Day and November Day, they are national holidays, which are the same all over the country.
