What is an undergraduate university?
Undergraduate course is the basic part of higher education, which is generally carried out by universities or colleges. Few higher vocational colleges have developed applied undergraduate education.

Undergraduate course is the basic part of higher education, generally enrolling high school graduates or those with equivalent education. The length of study is four years for most majors and five years for a few majors (the length of study for part-time undergraduate education depends on the situation).

Undergraduate education is mainly divided into full-time undergraduate and part-time undergraduate. Full-time undergraduates are mainly admitted by the national unified entrance examination of ordinary colleges and universities, and they are studying at school, and their academic qualifications are ordinary higher education. Part-time undergraduate courses are usually adult education, online education, open education and higher education self-study exams.

By September 2020 1, there will be 2,738 colleges and universities nationwide. Among them, there are 1270 undergraduate colleges, including 2 1 undergraduate vocational schools (see the list of national colleges and universities for details).

In China, ordinary full-time undergraduate students are usually admitted by the national unified examination, independent enrollment or taking classes. The academic system is 4-5 years, and students study at school. The type of education is general higher education, which is a relatively common way of education.

In addition, junior college students can receive general full-time undergraduate education through the unified examination, with a schooling period of 2 years, which belongs to undergraduate education starting from junior college. After normal graduation, students will be awarded undergraduate graduation certificates and bachelor's degree certificates from ordinary colleges and universities.
