Is there a future in learning NC programming for molds?
Heh ~ I'm 22 years old, and I started this industry last year. It's similar to your situation now. I quite agree with the man upstairs. I suggest you be an operator first. First, you have a source of income. Second, the operators basically work in two shifts, so you have enough time to study. Third, programming is much easier if you know how the tool works. At present, there are many programming softwares, which are different from factory to factory. UG and Mastercam are used more. I suggest you learn the English version. If you know the English version, you will know the Chinese version. Otherwise, if you go for an interview, everyone in the factory will use English. You will definitely fail the interview and I will not learn English well. I basically won the lottery in the exam. Now I use too much, I will know before I know it!
