Wang Chongjie, male, Han nationality,1born in May 1957, Tianjin native, party member, professor, doctoral supervisor. 1982 graduated from Shandong Jianzhu University. From June 5438 to February 2003, he served as president and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong Institute of Architecture and Engineering, and since May 2006, he has served as president and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong Jianzhu University.

Professor Wang Chongjie is an expert who enjoys special government allowance from the State Council, a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Shandong Province, and a top professional and technical talent in Jinan. He is currently the chief post professor of "Architectural Technology" in Shandong Jianzhu University, and concurrently serves as the vice chairman of the National Academic Committee of Architectural Technology, the vice chairman of the Solar Building Professional Committee of China Solar Energy Society, the vice chairman of the Architectural Technology Professional Committee of China Architectural Society, the vice chairman of Shandong Civil Architecture Society, the vice chairman of Shandong Environmental Science Society, the vice chairman of Shandong Survey and Design Association, the editorial board of Journal of Architecture and the vice chairman of the editorial board of New Building Technology.

Professor Wang Chongjie has long been committed to the integration of solar energy and buildings, the research and development of new solar products and the research of building energy efficiency. He has published more than 60 papers in core journals and academic journals such as Journal of Architecture, Journal of Solar Energy, huazhong architecture and New Architecture, and published 6 books such as Sustainable Development of Student Apartments and Solar Energy Architectural Design. Professor Wang Chongjie has undertaken more than national and provincial scientific research projects 10, including the National Natural Fund project 1 and three national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" scientific and technological support projects, presided over the provincial-level major scientific and technological project-"Research on Key Technologies of Sustainable Urban Human Settlements Demonstration Project in Shandong Province", and undertaken a number of school-enterprise joint projects in the field of solar energy construction. In 2007, the Research on the Application of Solar Heating Technology in Cold Areas, presided over by Professor Wang Chongjie, won the first prize of Shandong Science and Technology Progress Award. In addition, it won 2 second prizes for scientific and technological progress in Shandong Province, 2 second prizes for scientific and technological progress in Ministry of Education 1, 3 third prizes for scientific and technological progress in Ministry of Construction 1, 3 first prizes for excellent engineering survey and design in Shandong Province and 2 invention patents.
