South China Normal University, headquartered in Guangzhou, is a university jointly founded by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first national "world-class discipline construction universities" and national "2 1 1 engineering" key construction universities. The school has four campuses: Guangzhou Shipai, Guangzhou University Town, Foshan Nanhai and Shanwei.
