1, Jiamusi University, located in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, the earliest place where the sun rises in China, is a key comprehensive university in Heilongjiang Province, which integrates postgraduate education, general higher education, continuing education and international education. It is a pilot university of the "Excellent Doctoral Education Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education, one of the ten high-level universities in Heilongjiang Province, and the "Basic Capacity Building Project of 100 Central and Western Universities in China" during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period.
2. The school was established in 1947 and approved by the former State Education Commission on June 27th, 1995. It was formed by the merger of Jiamusi Medical College, Jiamusi Institute of Technology, Jiamusi Teachers College and the former Jiamusi University. After 2000, Jiamusi Grain Workers Secondary Professional School, Fujin Normal School and Heilongjiang Industrial School merged one after another.
