Zhejiang University School of Electrical Engineering and Department of Control Science and Engineering
The School of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University (referred to as the School of Electrical Engineering) was developed from the former Department of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University. This department has a long history and was established in 1920. It is one of the earliest motor systems in China. Mainly used for strong electricity, such as power system, but also for automation;

The Department of Control Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University started from 1956, and now it has industrial control research institute, automation instrument research institute, intelligent system and control research institute, state key laboratory of industrial control technology, national engineering research center of industrial automation, automation experimental teaching center and scientific instrument research center.

The School of Electrical Engineering is a second-level college, and the Department of Control is a department (originally affiliated to the School of Information, the later college was split into three departments).
