The College was established in February 2006, formerly known as the Department of Economics, Law and Politics, and was established in 1994. After rapid development in recent years, a talent training system has been formed from undergraduate to graduate, with seven undergraduate majors (including economics, trade economy, human resource management, economic statistics, financial engineering, finance and financial outsourcing, and host accounting), three academic master's degrees in statistics, regional economy and Marxist economic theory, and two master's degrees in management (MPA) and finance. Among them, economics is a school-level major, and political economics is a key discipline in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province. At present, the college has 1600 students, including undergraduates and postgraduates. The undergraduate enrollment rate is above 30%. Many students have been admitted by China Renmin University, Nanjing University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and other well-known domestic universities and scientific research institutions, as well as Boston University, University of Texas, University of Windsor, University of Cork, Ireland and other famous foreign universities.
