Xinyang Normal University is two universities. Xinyang Teachers College is located in Xinyang City, Henan Province, China. It is a public undergraduate college, based on the former Xinyang Normal University. At the same time, cancel the establishment of Xinyang Normal University.

The renamed Xinyang Normal University is a public undergraduate-level ordinary institution of higher learning, focusing on undergraduate education and undertaking the task of postgraduate training, which is led and managed by Henan Province. The adjustment of the existing professional structure of the school and the addition of new majors should be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education. The development scale of full-time students in the school is tentatively set at 30,000. The school has two campuses, tan shan and Huaihe, covering an area of more than 2,500 mu, with a total construction area of more than 900,000 square meters. There are 24 colleges, 1 1 disciplines, 83 undergraduate majors, 16 first-class disciplines authorized by master's degree, 14 categories authorized by master's degree, 6 national first-class undergraduate majors, 4 national specialty and national specialty comprehensive reform pilot majors.
