Jingyu Hope Primary School volunteer service is one of the routine projects of the Heart Wing Service Team of the Young Volunteers Association of University of Science and Technology Beijing. The activity recruits volunteers in the whole school and uses students' spare time and holidays to do teaching activities in Jingyu Primary School. This activity has always been a brand service project of the Young Volunteers Association of our school, and won the title of Top Ten Excellent Projects of University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2009.

In Jingyu Hope Primary School, volunteers are mainly responsible for teaching Chinese, mathematics, English and other courses. At the same time, it will also do some quality development for primary school students and engage in some extracurricular activities. For example, during the Paralympic Games, the Heart Wing Service Team organized some teachers and students to watch wheelchair basketball and wheelchair football matches in the gymnasium of University of Science and Technology Beijing. Volunteers experienced another role in the activity and gained different feelings.

Project 2: Introduction of Volunteer Explaining Service in Science and Technology Museum

The volunteer explanation service of China Science and Technology Museum is one of the routine projects of the Science and Technology Museum Service Team of the Young Volunteers Association of University of Science and Technology Beijing. The activity recruits volunteers in the whole school, and makes use of students' holiday time to do volunteer explanation work in the Science and Technology Museum.

China Science and Technology Museum is located at No.5 Beichen East Road (north of Bird's Nest 1000m). Volunteers are mainly responsible for explaining some exhibition areas of the Science and Technology Museum and providing other services such as audience guidance. Volunteer explanations last about 8 hours at a time, which is of great help to train students' eloquence and communicative competence. In the process of voluntary explanation, volunteers can learn about the history of China's scientific and technological development, which can be said to have benefited a lot.

Volunteer service of China Science and Technology Museum is a brand service project of Young Volunteers Association. In 2005, the summer social practice won the school silver award and the honorary title of Beijing excellent team, in 2005, it won the excellent team of social practice of capital university students, and in 2006, it won the bronze award team of summer social practice of University of Science and Technology Beijing.

Our explanation activities were strongly supported by China Science and Technology Museum, and the high quality and excellent service of our volunteer service team won high praise from the staff in the museum. In the new academic year, our science and technology museum service team will inherit the fine tradition and make new contributions to the voluntary service of University of Science and Technology Beijing!

Project 3: Introduction of volunteer explanation service in Haidian Public Security Museum

The volunteer explanation service of Haidian Public Security Museum is one of the routine projects of the Science and Technology Museum Service Team of the Young Volunteers Association of University of Science and Technology Beijing. The activity recruits volunteers in the whole school, and makes use of volunteers' weekends or holidays to do volunteer explanations in the security museum.

1. General activities:

Our volunteers keep their promises, rain or shine. Insist on volunteering in the safety hall on time every week, and strive to improve yourself to get twice the result with half the effort. The excellent service provided by the service team has been well received by the leaders, staff and tourists of Haidian Public Security Museum.

2. Summer social practice:

The explanation of the Safety Museum is a new voluntary service project. The eighth minister successfully recruited 18 people to form a summer social practice team in May 2009, drawing on the successful experience of social practice in the past science and technology museum and with the help of the favorable conditions of the new development project of the security museum. The practice results of 15 days have been well received by the leaders in the museum and attracted the attention of relevant media.

Project 4: Introduction to the voluntary explanation service of Dazhong Temple

The voluntary explanation activity of Dazhong Temple is a special voluntary service activity of Lan Yu Service Team of Young Volunteers Association of University of Science and Technology Beijing since 2007.

The temple is named after the collection of Yongle Bell in Ming Dynasty, and it is famous at home and abroad. Due to the collection of clocks and watches with their own characteristics in ancient and modern dynasties and the architectural style of ancient temples, Dazhong Temple has a strong cultural atmosphere for tourists. Here, visitors can not only learn about the history of ancient clocks and watches, but also experience the wisdom of the ancients. As a volunteer, Lan Yu Service Team came here as an interpreter to provide voluntary services for tourists, so as to actively promote the traditional culture of China.

Every weekend, the Lan Yu Service Team will go to Dazhong Temple to give a voluntary explanation. Because the exhibition area that each volunteer is responsible for contains a lot of content, each volunteer will carefully remember some of his own explanations before the activity, and learn from some professional tour guides during the explanation process to make up for the shortcomings.

Project 5: Introduction of earthquake science popularization service. Starting from 65438+ in February 2009, the Lan Yu Service Team of the Young Volunteers Association of University of Science and Technology Beijing will carry out volunteer service activities to publicize earthquake science knowledge.

In order to let more people know what measures we should take when an earthquake occurs and minimize casualties and property losses, we contacted experts from China Seismological Network Center to hold this activity together.

The activities are mainly aimed at children, primary school students and college students in kindergartens and communities in Beijing. During the activity, we will recruit volunteers to be trained by professionals (on-the-job researchers of China Network Center). Well-trained volunteers go to kindergartens in Beijing to explain the knowledge about earthquakes to children and teach them how to deal with them.

This activity can not only let volunteers know more about earthquakes, but also contribute to society.

Item 6: Introduction of Volunteer Service for the Elderly in dashiqiao city

The volunteer service of respecting the elderly in Dashiqiao is one of the routine projects of the Heart Wing Service Team of the Young Volunteers Association of University of Science and Technology Beijing. Activities in the whole school to recruit volunteers, using students' weekends and holidays to do volunteer service in Dashiqiao nursing home. Volunteers can perform cultural programs for the old people in nursing homes, chat with them and do anything they can to alleviate their boredom. Each activity lasts about three hours.

Item 7: Brief introduction of volunteer service for the disabled in the new Olympic Games.

The volunteer project for the disabled in Beijing Universiade is a newly developed project by the Heart Wing Service Team of the Young Volunteers Association of University of Science and Technology Beijing this year. Activities in the whole school to recruit volunteers, use students' spare time and holidays to volunteer at the Universiade Disabled Base.

In the new sports base for the disabled, there are mainly disabled children. The job of volunteers is to chat (tell stories) and play games with the children. Through a series of activities, help children understand society and broaden their horizons. Volunteers need to help children get in touch with the outside world through their own personal experiences and life experiences, and at the same time let more social people care about these vulnerable groups and give their love. This activity is a project to test the patience of volunteers, and we are confident that it will become another excellent project for us!

Item 8: Introduction to Volunteer Service of China Aviation Museum

China Aviation Museum is located at the foot of Datang Mountain in Changping District, Beijing, covering an area of more than 700,000 square meters. The museum is the first batch of national first-class museums, patriotic education bases, the first batch of national defense education bases and national AAAA-level tourist attractions. It is the largest aviation museum in the world and the first in Asia. At present, the museum has a collection of 309 134 aircraft, various weapons and equipment samples such as missiles and radars, and more than 5000 important friendly gifts of/KLOC-0.

The project was founded at the beginning of 20 10, which is a long-term cooperation project between the propaganda department and the museum.

Activities are held every weekend, each time 10 people. Volunteers are responsible for explaining and guiding tourists in the venue.
