Article 6 The undergraduate education system is four years (five years in architecture and eight years in clinical medicine), and the credit system management and flexible study years are implemented. Tsinghua University Specific Provisions Article 1 In order to maintain the normal education and teaching order of the school, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of students and promote the all-round development of students, these regulations are formulated in accordance with the People's Republic of China (PRC) Higher Education Law, the Regulations on the Management of Students in Ordinary Colleges and Universities (Order No.21of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC)), the Tsinghua University Articles of Association and other relevant spirits, combined with the actual situation of our school.

Seventh cumulative credits to meet the requirements of professional training program courses and total credits, is a necessary condition for students to obtain graduation qualifications. Undergraduate students who meet the conditions for early graduation can graduate early; Those who fail to meet the graduation requirements within the normal academic system may apply for an extension of their study years.
Those who apply for early graduation or extension of study years should submit a written application before the end of March of the normal graduation year, which will be reviewed by the college and department (hereinafter referred to as the department) and reported to the Academic Affairs Office for approval.
