What does coe mean by studying abroad?
Coe refers to the receipt given by the school after paying tuition fees.

When applying for an Australian study visa, you need to submit the COE or e COE and CON-COE of the school. Obtaining coe after studying abroad refers to the receipt given by the school after paying tuition fees, and it is also a document that must be submitted to the embassy before submitting an e-visa. The document will show the name of the course you are studying, the major, the institution, the starting and ending time of the study and the tuition fees you have paid.

If you must learn the language before going to Australia to study the main course, then you will get two COEs, one is the language and the other is the main course. This COE is also a confirmation letter before you apply for a visa abroad. Only students who get the COE are eligible to apply for a visa.

COE's full name is Certificate Of Enrollment, which means registration confirmation letter, and it is one of the most important materials for studying in Australia. When students receive a conditional admission notice from the school, they need to successfully meet all the conditions listed in the admission notice, change to an unconditional admission notice, and pay the corresponding tuition deposit.

After the school confirms the receipt of the deposit, it will issue a formal COE to handle the visa for the students. (that is, conditional offer- unconditional offer- payment of tuition deposit -COE- visa).

There is one condition for obtaining COE:

The firm offer is still valid after the tuition fee is paid; There are still places for the majors you apply for when you pay tuition fees. Getting a firm offer from an Australian university doesn't mean that you must have a degree from the school. Because the school gives a large number of offer every year, the actual enrollment is limited. So it's all first come, first served.

You can't determine your degree until you pay tuition in exchange for COE. Schools have the right and possibility (especially the Eighth National Congress) to give degrees to other students who have already paid their tuition fees before they get the firm offer but not the COE. In this way, you have to wait half a year or even a year before it's your turn to start the next class.

Therefore, to be on the safe side, students enrolled in Australia, especially the top eight students, had better pay their tuition fees and determine their degrees as soon as they get a firm offer. After all, the Eighth National Congress is also contested by many students.
