1928 Qiu, Professor and Secretary-General of Tsinghua University. 1in the spring of 930, he was appointed president of Henan University at the invitation of Henan famous gentry and student representatives. 193 1 spring, he was appointed president of Jiaozuo University of Mining and Technology. Approved by the province, it was changed to Jiaozuo Institute of Technology.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/933, he became the president of Henan University again. /kloc-in the winter of 0/935, he continued as professor and general manager of Central University.

1937 After the July 7th Incident, Central University moved to Chongqing. Careful planning to make the relocation orderly. In the autumn of the following year, Zhou Enlai, head of the Japanese delegation in Chongqing, gave a lecture entitled "The Situation of the Sino-Japanese War" in the auditorium of Central University, which was attended by thousands of people.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/939, Mou Yizhi introduced him to Zhou Enlai, which was very enlightening. In September, he served as director of the Construction Department of Henan Province.

1May, 944, moved to Chongqing. He was ordered by the Ministry of Education to return to Zhechuan County for the third time as the president of Henan University.

1949 In May, Wuhan was liberated and was elected as the representative of South Central District to attend the first China People's Political Consultative Conference. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as deputy director of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Fuel Industry, deputy director of the General Administration of Coal Management and member of the People's Government of Henan Province.

From 65438 to 0953, he joined the China Democratic League and was transferred to Henan Province as the director. He used to be the first vice chairman of Henan CPPCC, the second CPPCC member, the second and third CPPCC members, and the vice chairman of Henan Science Popularization Association.

1957 was wrongly classified as a rightist and worked in Jiaozuo and Hebi. Later, CPPCC was transferred to Kaifeng to work on literature and history materials. During the "Cultural Revolution", he was evacuated to Zhengzhou for criticism, and his body and mind were greatly devastated. He died in June of 1968 I0+03. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, Zhang's unjust case was rehabilitated.

On July 5th, 1979, the Henan Provincial Party Committee, the provincial government and the provincial CPPCC jointly held a memorial service for Zhang Zhonglu.
