Headquarters: Beijing; Campus: Xi, Shanghai, Shijiazhuang

Merger/adjustment: On 20 17, the School of Political Science and Law of National Defense University was established on the basis of PLA National Defense University and deployed in Xi 'an; Based on Nanjing Political College and Armed Police Political College, the Political College of National Defense University was established and deployed in Shanghai. Based on Shijiazhuang Army Command College, the Staff College of National Defense University was established and deployed in Shijiazhuang. On the basis of PLA Art College, Military Culture College of National Defense University was established and deployed in Beijing. On the basis of logistics command college, command specialty and acquisition specialty of equipment college, the National Defense University Rear-loading Support College was established and deployed in Beijing.

2. PLA National University of Defense Technology

Headquarters: Changsha; Campus: Nanjing, Wuhan, Hefei

Merger/Adjustment: The 20 17 School was rebuilt on the basis of the former PLA National University of Defense Technology, China PLA Institute of International Relations, China PLA National Defense Information College, China PLA Xi 'an Communication College, PLA Electronic Engineering College and China PLA University of Science and Technology College of Meteorology and Oceanography.
