New high school graduates who meet one of the following application conditions may submit their applications to our school:
The first category: middle school recommendation
1. Among all provincial key (or demonstration) middle schools, students who are recommended by middle schools, have all-round development in morality, intelligence and physique, have consistently excellent grades, and rank in the top 20% in arts and sciences (the recommended places of middle schools can be appropriately relaxed with the consent of our school).
2, high school ideological and moral and social work ability, won the title of provincial outstanding students or outstanding cadres, grade comprehensive ranking reached (literature, science) before 30%.
Category II: Self-recommendation by students
1, high school students won the second prize at the provincial level in the national Olympic competition for middle school students (mathematics, science, chemistry, biology and informatics) and the third prize at the provincial level in two or more disciplines;
2. Persons who have made outstanding achievements in scientific and technological innovation in high school and can provide corresponding certification materials or obtain various patents and scientific and technological inventions, and have been recognized by the expert group of our school;
3. Outstanding achievements in literature and foreign languages in high school, and can provide corresponding materials recognized by the expert group of our school; The champion of the "National Innovative English Composition Competition" held by the seventh "College Admissions" magazine; Winner of the special prize or the first prize of the "National Creative Composition Competition for Primary and Secondary School Students" sponsored by Inside and Outside the Classroom magazine;
Article 2. Application procedure
1. Online registration: Candidates who meet the registration requirements must first log in to the admissions website of our school to complete the registration application procedures (the registration time is from the date of promulgation of these Measures to 65438+February 2009, and 65438+May 2009 (website: /bmxt/ enter the online registration system of Chongqing University (including self-enrollment, test-free students and art specialty students) to register).
2. Written materials to be submitted (incomplete materials will not be registered):
A. Complete the registration procedures in the online registration system and print (you must use the printing function of the registration system to print) the Application Form for Independent Enrollment of Chongqing University 20 10, which shall be signed and sealed by the person in charge of the middle school.
B. Certificate of academic performance and grade ranking of my senior high school in each academic year issued by the middle school (stamped with the official seal of the middle school).
C. Letter of recommendation (handwritten by myself, with no more than 1000 words) includes: application reasons, personality characteristics, hobbies, life planning, public welfare activities, etc. Letter of recommendation (including contact number) written by the principal, head teacher and classroom teacher of our school.
D copies of other relevant certificates or supporting materials (the original will be verified during the review).
The above materials must be authentic. Please bind it in A4 paper and send it to the school by registered mail or express mail (ensure that the materials arrive at the school within one week).

Article 3. Selection program
1, the independent selection of Chongqing University is carried out under the leadership of the school enrollment leading group. The school set up an independent selection and assessment expert group to be responsible for independent selection, assessment and interview.
2. Qualification examination: the school will conduct qualification examination immediately after receiving the paper application materials of the candidates, and the examination results will be notified immediately in the online registration system "Registration Progress" (without notice). Candidates must check it in time.
3. Examination time: 20 10 65438+ 10/0; 65438+1go through the registration formalities at 2-4 pm on October 8; There will be a pre-test briefing at 4: 30
Examination places: major schools, Chengdu, Sichuan, Zhengzhou No.1 Middle School, Henan, Wuhan No.3 Middle School, Wuhan, Hubei. Candidates can choose their own test sites when registering, and once they are selected, they cannot be changed.
4. Assessment content: The examination is divided into written examination and interview. 65438+1all day on October 9th: written test+comprehensive ability test,1all day interview on October 9th+10.
Written test time: 90 minutes per subject.
Written test subjects: science: English, mathematics, physics; Liberal arts: English, Chinese, history.
The total interview results include: application materials review, interview writing and interview.
Candidates applying for architecture, urban planning and landscape design must take the freehand drawing exam. Those who fail the freehand drawing exam cannot be admitted to the above three majors independently.
5. Announcement of results: Those who are identified as self-enrollment candidates by our school will be announced on the Sunshine College Entrance Examination Platform of the Ministry of Education, our school enrollment network (the announcement time is 7 days) and the middle school where they are located. Those who have no objection will become qualified students selected by our school on 20 10. Qualified students are divided into excellent and qualified grades according to the comprehensive test results.
Article 4. Admission principle
Candidates with independent enrollment qualifications and above determined by our school:
1. Fill in the data required for admission in the "Fill in College Entrance Examination Information" function of our online registration system before 20 10 (the first choice or first choice is to fill in Chongqing University score, candidate number, college entrance examination and professional volunteers (5 valid professional volunteers must be filled in). Those who fail to fill in the form on time will be deemed to have automatically waived their qualifications for independent selection and admission to our school.
2, 20 10 ordinary college entrance examination results shall not be lower than the province (municipality directly under the central government, autonomous region) key line;
3. The first choice of the college entrance examination (or the first order of choice) must be reported to Chongqing University; Professional volunteers must fill in the majors in the enrollment plan of our school in the province (city, autonomous region). The professional volunteers reported in the college entrance examination must be consistent with those reported in the registration system of our school.
4. Preferential policies
In the first category, candidates who have achieved excellent results can be admitted as long as their college entrance examination scores reach the key lines of their provinces (municipalities directly under the central government and autonomous regions) and meet one of the five effective professional volunteers reported by candidates. 20 10 our school implements the method of professional pre-recording according to the independent enrollment score line. Those who fail the freehand drawing exam can't be admitted to the majors of architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture design.
In the second category, the scores of qualified candidates have reached the key points of their provinces (municipalities directly under the central government and autonomous regions), and our school will arrange the majors reasonably with reference to their professional wishes and plans when enrolling.
Article 5. supervision mechanism
1. The school will conduct independent selection and admission in strict accordance with the principle of "open procedures, open selection, comprehensive assessment and merit-based admission".
2. The school discipline inspection department participates in the whole process of self-enrollment selection and admission, accepts social supervision, and ensures that the implementation process is fair and just. All materials submitted by candidates must be authentic. Anyone found to have resort to deceit, once verified, will be disqualified from being selected and recommended by middle schools immediately. If the circumstances are serious, the parties concerned will be held accountable in accordance with relevant state regulations and enrollment policies.
Article 6 The right to interpret these Measures belongs to the Admissions Office of Chongqing University.
