Kashgar University in Xinjiang, located in Kashgar City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is a basic capacity-building engineering university among universities in the central and western regions and one of the national 100 pilot universities.

Approved by the Ministry of Education, the College was established in March 2003. It is the first independent college in Northeast China established according to the new mechanism and model, and a new type of ordinary undergraduate college founded by Dalian University of Technology and China Urban Construction Holding Group Co., Ltd. ..
