20021China University Ranking is based on factors such as personnel training (employment, teachers, alumni), social reputation (level, source of students) and personnel training (disciplines, scientific research, achievements), taking into account both "paying equal attention to arts and sciences" and "accurate scale", and adopting ABC analysis method to evaluate and rank mainland universities (only selecting key indicators to evaluate some characteristic universities).
Using "hierarchical classification" and subsection analysis, some secondary indicators are not applicable to non-science and engineering or research universities, weakened into secondary indicators, and other decisive indicators under the corresponding primary indicators are strengthened. The ranking results show that there are 133 universities in China University 100 this year (more rankings will be released in late June), among which more than 30 characteristic universities rank side by side and do not occupy a place. The top ten universities are Tsinghua University, Peking University, China University of Science and Technology, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, China Renmin University, Xi Jiaotong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, National University of Defense Technology and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. From the perspective of regional distribution, Beijing has 28 seats! In addition, Jiangsu (18), Shanghai (12), Hubei (8), Guangdong (8) and Shaanxi (7) followed closely. Therefore, the relationship between regional economic development and higher education is particularly close.
