This feeling must be biased-why?
First of all, people's feelings are biased, and what is often used to prove this is such a phenomenon:
Nearly 90% people think their driving level is above average. ......
Macroscopically, this is obviously impossible, but it falls on me, "I feel that I am above average!" " There is a special word about the fact that almost everyone thinks they are above average, which is called "Houbigant effect". You can ask for it when you are free. It was fun. ......
The deeper reason is this:
We can't perceive the whole world; We can only judge whether we are above average by perceiving the surrounding environment.
In other words, what supports our "conclusion" is actually very limited, far from all, just the surrounding environment we can perceive. So, what if a frog in the well is really above average in its world?
In the education system, people put the "passing line" at 60 points instead of 50 points, which is also reasonable in a sense. "Extra 10 score" can be regarded as a "correction parameter". This is actually a bit cruel, because the passing line clearly declares that after 40%, it is backward. Fortunately, however, most people in school can pass the exam-from another point of view, this hypocritical "tolerance" is equivalent to "boiling frogs in warm water", and it is also the root of all the so-called "formal education systems" in the world today, because they create a false world and hinder the normal development of most people's "immunity".
After entering the society, some relatively sensitive people may have found that passing the exam is almost completely useless. In fact, after 20%, they are all backward-because 20% people occupy 80% of the limited resources in the world. .................................................................................................................... .................... and this law was discovered by Italian economist Pareto when he was studying the wealth and income pattern of British people in the1897th century-in a blink of an eye, 100 years passed.
Entering the 2 1 century, a major change is revealing a more cruel fact:
In 20 12, Xiaomi alone sold 7190,000 mobile phones, and in 20 13, it sold187,000 and 201/20,000 mobile phones. (Source:/IT/2016-08/9357613.html)
In other words, in recent years, the sales volume of Xiaomi alone has exceeded 1 100 million. In addition to Xiaomi, there are many big manufacturers, such as Samsung, OPPO, Huawei, VIVO, Apple ... By the second quarter of 20 16, Tencent WeChat had about 800 million monthly users and Alipay had more than 300 million monthly users. ......
Needless to say, the mobile internet is equivalent to connecting everyone. Mobile devices have become an indispensable "organ" for everyone-don't believe me, how many days can you insist on not using your mobile phone? And if you give up eating, does it really matter for three days?
The direct result of all people being connected is that the world we can perceive is not limited to our surroundings, but "each of us can try our best to perceive the whole world", no matter whether that perception is superficial or profound.
But now it's different: in fact, this process may not be seen by everyone.
In 2008, he began to coach domestic children to apply for American universities in batches. Most of them were admitted by Harvard, Yale, MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon and John Cheng Putin ... After they left, they basically disappeared from the world where China University classmates existed; Once a year, or once every two years, that's all. But 20 13, they began to make friends ... After that, they were basically graduate students and doctors from famous universities. They worked in Silicon Valley or new york at a young age, with an annual salary of150,000 US dollars, not counting bonuses. They worked five days a week, eight hours a day, and spent the rest of their time studying new things and traveling around ... In the past, They are using knowledge to change their destiny. In the other world, they have disappeared. In the world where they have disappeared, "knowledge is useless" is a self-certified prophecy that must be realized. What about now? Their circle of friends has always been there and can be seen all over the world. They don't disappear, they just exist. Their life clearly tells others that knowledge is useful and that knowledge can change fate, at least it can be realized soon. ....
In the last year or two, various knowledge-selling communities have emerged in an endless stream and done well. Why? Because now everyone can see that those successful people (or people who make a lot of money) really know a lot of things that everyone doesn't know, and they don't know how. No wonder they are inferior to others. From another point of view, the traditional so-called formal systematic education is not enough, such as the product manager. Everyone suddenly found out that there was no such thing in school, and some universities opened, which was useless, because no real experts wanted to teach in universities ... What should we do? Buy it quickly!
Finally, let's give an example that everyone can see and touch: Xiang Li commercial internal reference? Up to now, it has exceeded 70,000 subscriptions, and the price is 199 yuan/year, and this number may increase. Perhaps140,000 RMB is not much, but this figure is already 1/5 to 1/2 of some listed companies in the New Third Board, or even more-those companies are not composed of one person, and it usually takes dozens of people to create the profits created by Xiang Li alone. In other words, this is equivalent to Li Xiang being more terrible than more than 99% of small publishing houses.
When everyone is connected, the thirst for knowledge is extremely strong, because the difference is obvious. One by one, that's it.
Even this desire has become a kind of fear-the fear of backwardness.
In fact, we should be afraid. Because there is a terrible fact, it has existed for a long time, but most people have not responded. .......
There is also a more terrible trend: robots are on the rise, artificial intelligence is on the rise, and most people are on the road of becoming more and more useless. Think about it: How many people around you really understand what the words "big data" mean? Then use common sense to guess, how many people in the whole population really understand probability statistics? -This is the most basic knowledge to understand "Big Data"! I'll do the math for you.
In 20 15, the number of college students in China was about 32 million. In fact, this is only about110 of the school-age population. Think again, how many college students really study statistical probability seriously, and then have the ability to apply these basic knowledge to their own lives? 110 is less than1100 ... that means that at most only one percent of school-age youth have the foundation and possibility to learn and understand the meaning of big data. The theory of big data is really not difficult, but really not everyone can learn it, because obtaining a large amount of data is a very high threshold ... multiplied by1100. In the end, less than one in ten thousand people in the crowd, even less than one in ten thousand people, have the ability and opportunity to master big data skills and use this huge advantage to get greater returns, right?
In the face of big data, 9,999 people in ten thousand are useless, and after one in ten thousand, they are all backward. They are all objects of research, guidance and income-this is cruel, but knowing is better than not knowing. Although there is pain, there is hope, because you will struggle and have hope because of that pain; I don't know that it is tragic, without pain, but without hope, it is almost equal to death.
Maybe this will make you anxious, but this kind of anxiety is valuable if used properly. Because the dose of anxiety is appropriate and sufficient, there is a good substitute word called "sense of crisis". People who have no sense of crisis are walking dead and doomed to be useless in the future.
..... Don't worry, there must be a way to solve the anxiety caused by the sense of crisis.
Unconsciously, you have at least two goals that belong to the future:
1. Sooner or later, you have to stop selling your time to make a living.
2. Don't fall behind sooner or later, and become the top 20% or even the top 1%.
1. Do the top 20% groups around you have any abilities? If so, what is it? How did you do that?
2. Have you ever thought about how to gradually grow into the top 20% group around you? Besides making up your mind, what specific methods and steps do you have?
After several weeks of self-training, I just updated a few concepts. Do you think there has been a big change? If so, are you aware that these changes could have happened earlier? Are the costs of these changes low? Apart from the subscription fee of a little more than 3 yuan per week, is there anything particularly important that you should pay attention to? )
If you already have some sense of crisis, can you think of a way to get rid of anxiety? How can I get rid of anxiety? In fact, looking ahead, you will find the answer, because we have already mentioned it-why don't you look for it? )
This week, if you spend at least 30 minutes every day to take a look at yourself and think about whether you have hallucinations in some way. I mistakenly thought I was above average? Anyway, you don't have to write to others, find a notebook and make a list carefully ... You will find that you will spend more time thinking about this problem the next day involuntarily-this is definitely a thinking time that is of great help to your future. Don't take it lightly, thinking that my articles and questions are just for reading. .......
