Art College of Xiamen University is located at the southern tip of Xiamen Island, backed by the rolling Five Old Peaks and facing the blue East China Sea. Art College of Xiamen University was established in 1983, and enrolled undergraduates from 1984. 1987 was approved to set up a master's degree awarding point in musicology and fine arts; In 2003, it approved the establishment of a master's degree awarding point in art and design; In 2005, the establishment of Master of Arts (MFA) degree awarding point was approved. Musicology major (enrolling 60 students). ※:

Music performance major (enrollment 100). ※:
1. Recruit 20 people in the dance direction;
2. Recruit 5 people in the direction of composition;
3. Vocal music direction recruits 18 people;
4. Folk music enrollment 15 people, including pipa, erhu, dulcimer, guzheng, bamboo flute (including Yan), zhongruan;
5. Keyboard direction 15 people, including piano, accordion and double-row keys;
6. The orchestra will recruit 27 students, including strings (violin, viola, cello and double bass), woodwind (flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon), brass (horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba) and percussion.

1. Candidates who meet the above conditions and intend to apply for art majors in our school should register at the test center set up by our school. Only after filling in the registration form of professional examination in our school and receiving the admission ticket of professional examination in our school can we take the examination.
2. Candidates who apply for art majors in our school can go through the registration procedures for professional examinations according to the registration date stipulated by the test center set up by our school. When registering, they must hold: ① their ID card; (2) Textual research and professional unified examination certificate issued by the high school admissions office where the candidate is located; (3) One-inch bareheaded recent photo of the same person as the original;
3. When registering, candidates must carefully fill in and confirm their personal information, including name, ID number, candidate number (or the registration number on the art major examination report issued by the high school admissions office where the candidates are located), the major (direction) to apply for, effective contact address and telephone number (including area code), etc.
4. Candidates who have passed the professional examination in our school, if they can't provide the candidate number when registering, must provide their name, province, major (direction) and candidate number to the Music Department or Fine Arts Department before March 15, 2008.

Five, professional examination
Candidates take the professional examination with their ID card, registration card (the art professional examination report issued by the high school admissions office where the candidates are located) and the professional admission ticket issued by our school. Candidates who are found to be in violation of the rules in the professional examinations of our college will be submitted to the provincial recruitment office where the students are located, and the provincial recruitment office will cancel their artistic professional qualifications in that year, and record the violation facts in the electronic files of the college entrance examination integrity. The transportation and accommodation expenses for the professional examination shall be borne by the candidates themselves. Music candidates should bring their own musical instruments besides the piano. Art candidates should bring their own paints and painting tools.
