Why is the word "jade" written by Huang Tingjian on Yuchan Mountain in Lu Xian written on it?
Legend: Yuchan Mountain is named after the shape of a toad. One day, Huang Tingjian, a famous writer and calligrapher in the Song Dynasty, visited Yuchan Mountain and was intoxicated by the scenery there. In particular, many toads worshipped him, which made him feel relaxed and lingering. Huang Tingjian, the old host of Yuantong Temple on the mountain, heard his name for a long time, so he welcomed him into the temple, offered Yuchan fragrant tea and Yuchan fine wine, sipped tea and drank wine, and talked about Yuchan stone in the mountain. When the old master saw Huang Tingjian talking and laughing, he was in high spirits, so he asked the monks to put on the Four Treasures of the Study and asked Huang Tingjian to write an inscription for Mo Bao. Huang Tingjian readily agreed and wrote "Jade Toad" in two simple and vigorous Chinese characters. Because Huang Tingjian was drunk with books, he even wrote a little word "jade" on it, leaving the story of "drunken book and jade toad". Later, monks carved the word "Yuchan" on the cliff and renamed Yuantong Temple "Yuchan Temple".
