National Chung Cheng University is a comprehensive university founded in Ling Xing, Taihe County, Jiangxi Province during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period.

At the same time, in Jiangxi, Jiangxi Agricultural College (now Jiangxi Agricultural University) was established on the basis of National Nanchang University Agricultural College. 1962, the biology department of Jiangxi Normal University was transferred to Jiangxi University (now Nanchang University).
Since then, Jiangxi education has fallen into a trough and has not improved so far. Now Nanchang University has not inherited the mantle and revived the glory of National Chung Cheng University. The abbreviation of Nantah (formerly Nanchang University) has also been replaced by Nanjing University.
