Bentley's successful cases in China, such as East China Survey and Design Institute, have brought many gains to both sides. Bentley has also performed well in the fields of thermal power and nuclear power. Bentley is suitable for big companies. At present, Revit has the highest market share of BIM software in China.

I want to share some introductory information about Revit (I can't share it because I haven't touched Bentley myself). The concept of BIM originated from the construction industry, and its development in the field of construction (civil engineering) is generally more mature than other industries.

How should I start? This is not a question that can be answered by asking. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and the answer lies in moving. It is roughly divided into the following steps:

1. First, make up your mind to learn BIM. This is a crucial step. It's only a matter of time before you succeed in doing this.

2. Prepare a computer with acceptable performance and related software. General computer CPU i5, discrete graphics card, 4G memory is basically enough for beginners. Software such as Revit, Civil 3D and Navisworks is almost the same. If you want to do rendering work, you can have a Lumion.

3. Prepare books and time. The following are the books I studied at that time.

You can watch one video at a time to see how others do it and what they can do. Basically, it is not difficult to look at modeling once. At this time, it is best to have two or three modeling tasks to practice your hands.

B, learn a parameterized family study. The core content of Revit is family. You can see this "Autodesk Revit 20 13 family talent acceleration". Family can simplify repetitive work, especially parametric family, which is very helpful to improve modeling efficiency. Skills must be learned. It's all about this thing.

C, after learning the method of modeling and establishing parametric family, the following is the structure. Autodesk Navisworks Practical Thinking Class is a good book with videos in it. The same method can be read one by one, and you will basically learn it after reading it again.

D, after reading this A, B, C, and building a few simulators, you can basically be regarded as a master. The purpose of reading is not to learn by rote, but to know what problems you have encountered and where to find information.
