I. Interpretation

Peking University Law School belongs to A++ level (the highest level), and there are only three in China. However, Tsinghua Law belongs to a college founded in the 2nd/Kloc-0th century. Although it has developed rapidly, it may still be more dominant in terms of comprehensive historical background and network resources.

In addition, from the school's comprehensive point of view, Peking University is partial to literature and Tsinghua is partial to reason, and law should be said to belong to liberal arts. Therefore, the environment of Peking University seems to be more suitable for the development of law.

Second, the school conditions

Peking University Law School has first-class teaching and research conditions. The teaching administration building (Kaiyuan Building), the scientific research building (Chenming Building), the quadrangle (national courtyard) and the Fazhu Square are all located in the northeast corner of Yanyuan, close to the scenic unnamed lake area, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment.

In recent years, Peking University Law School has made continuous progress in internationalization, established close ties with law schools of nearly 100 top universities around the world, and set up joint research institutions in many famous law schools in Europe and America.

1, Peking University Education

Peking University Law School has a complete range of disciplines and famous teachers, and its legal education covers undergraduate, master of law, master of law, in-service master of law and doctor of law. Among the existing disciplines of Peking University Law School, criminal law, economic law, jurisprudence and constitutional administrative law are national key disciplines.

There are 13 master's programs, 9 doctoral programs, postdoctoral mobile stations, 4 national key disciplines and 1 key research bases of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. Law school has many well-known scholars at home and abroad and cross-century young and middle-aged academic backbones. At present, there are 42 full-time professors, 7 professors, 27 associate professors and 9 lecturers.

They have played an important role in legal education, scientific research, legislation and judicial practice in China. 2. Discipline construction

Peking University Law School has a complete range of disciplines, with four leading national key disciplines: economic law, jurisprudence, constitution and administrative law, and criminal law. On-the-job teachers comprehensively cover all the two disciplines of law.

Traditional dominant disciplines and emerging frontier disciplines have achieved balanced and equal development. Teachers in all disciplines are complete, and the age and academic structure are reasonable. There are well-known legal scholars at home and abroad and outstanding young and middle-aged backbone teachers of the same age.
