How to choose the right dairy products correctly
Milk is a kind of natural food with rich nutrition, suitable composition ratio, easy digestion and absorption and high nutritional value. It contains many substances beneficial to human health and is suitable for people of all ages to drink. There are many kinds of dairy products on the market. How to choose the right dairy products?

Li Shengli, chief scientist of national dairy technology system and professor of China Agricultural University, said that there are many kinds of dairy products in China, including pasteurized milk, ultra-high temperature sterilized milk, fermented milk, blended milk and formula milk powder. Generally speaking, as long as it is a product that is regularly produced and listed and within the shelf life, there is no problem with quality and safety, and everyone can choose consumption with confidence.

In terms of nutritional value, pasteurized milk can not only kill pathogenic bacteria, but also retain the biomass activity in raw milk to the maximum extent. The whole process of production, processing, transportation and sales is required to be carried out under the cold chain condition of 2 to 6 degrees Celsius, and the storage period is generally 2 to 7 days. For convenience, you can choose high-temperature sterilized milk, which can be stored at room temperature for a long time. For lactose intolerant people, you can choose products such as yogurt.

Experts suggest that because there is no essential difference between the nutritional components of goat milk and milk, people who are allergic to milk and weak in constitution can choose goat milk instead. In addition, infants under 6 months advocate exclusive breastfeeding. Infants aged 7-24 months can appropriately add infant formula milk powder to supplement the lack of breast milk. Children over 2 years old can gradually transition to fresh pasteurized milk, yogurt or ultra-high temperature sterilized milk.
