In the latest QS ranking of world universities, nearly half of the top universities in the world 100 are located in the United States (26 universities) and the United Kingdom (18 universities). MIT ranks first, followed by Oxford University, followed by Stanford University and Harvard University. Followed by California Institute of Technology, London Imperial College London, Zurich Federal Institute of Technology (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology).
