There is no Hunan University of Political Science and Law, but China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing), Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (Wuhan), Southwest University of Political Science and Law (Chongqing), East China University of Political Science and Law (Shanghai) and northwest university of politics and law (Xi 'an).

Hunan University Law School

The legal education of Hunan University originated from 1906, which was then called "Hunan Public College of Political Science and Law". After several changes, on 1926, Hunan Public College of Political Science and Law was merged into the provincial Hunan University, and the Law Department of Hunan University was established. The Law Department was founded in 194 1 year, and 1945 was renamed Hunan University Law School. 1953 National colleges and universities were reorganized, and the disciplines of literature and law of Hunan University were merged into Wuhan University, Hubei College of Economics of Sun Yat-sen University, Zhongnan College of Political Science and Law and other schools. 1998, undergraduate students majoring in law resumed enrollment. The former Hunan University of Finance and Economics began to recruit undergraduates majoring in economic law from 1987, established the Department of Economic Law from 1988, and was awarded the master's degree in economic law by the State Council Academic Office from 1995.
