Luoning County People's Hospital was founded on 1950. After half a century's vicissitudes, changes and development, it has become a comprehensive second-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, prevention, teaching and scientific research. It is the first aid center of Luoning County, the accident judicial appraisal center of Luoning County and the designated unit of medical insurance in Luoning County. 1997 was awarded "Baby-friendly Hospital" by the Ministry of Health. In 200 1 year, it was designated as the teaching practice hospital of Luoyang Medical College, and now it is the network hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology.

It has won many honorary titles such as "civilized unit", "price trustworthy unit", "sampling unit without counterfeit drugs" and "advanced party branch" in Luoyang City, Henan Province. During the fight against SARS in 2003, the hospital took effective measures and made proper arrangements, and achieved remarkable results, winning the title of "Luoyang Advanced Unit in Fighting SARS". In 2004, it was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Collective of Health System" at the municipal level.
