Yokohama National University (YNU) is a famous research-oriented national comprehensive university, headquartered in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Founded in 1947, it is a new university reformed from four pre-war government educational institutions, including Yokohama Institute of Economics, Yokohama Institute of Technology, Kanagawa Normal School and Kanagawa Youth Normal School.
