China Communication University is not an art college, but a comprehensive university.

China Communication University, referred to as "Nakagawa", is located in the capital Beijing. It is a university with industry characteristics in the field of information and communication directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and it is a national "2 1 1 project" key construction university.

The school was formerly a training course for technicians of the Central Broadcasting Bureau, which was founded in 1954. 1959 approved by the State Council, the school was upgraded to Beijing Broadcasting Institute. In 200 1 year, it was identified as the national "2 1 1 project" key construction university, and in September 2004, it was renamed as China Communication University.

China Communication University mainly has the following schools: School of Information and Communication Engineering, School of Computer and Cyberspace Security, School of Data Science and Intelligent Media, Experimental Teaching Center, School of Journalism, School of Television, School of Communication, School of Drama and Film, School of Broadcasting and Hosting Art, School of Animation and Digital Art, etc.
