Requirements for applying for Japanese graduate students
Japan is a popular country for studying abroad in recent years, so what are the application conditions for students who want to study in Japan? The following is the "Application Requirements for Japanese Postgraduates Studying Abroad" compiled by me for reference only. Welcome to read this article.

First, the undergraduate application conditions

1, get "Japanese proficiency test N 1". If you want to take classes in Japanese universities, you must first have a high level of Japanese. Even if you get the admission notice before you get the Japanese proficiency test, you will encounter many difficulties in your future study, so getting the "Japanese proficiency test N 1" is the most basic condition.

2. The Examination for Studying in Japan. The "Examination for Studying in Japan" is to test the basic learning ability of students studying in Japan. It consists of Japanese, Mathematics (Mathematics A, Mathematics B), Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Comprehensive. According to the voluntary school, it will decide which subjects to take. It is held twice a year in June and June165438+1October, and the examination places are in Japan and Asian countries.

3. University independent examination. 80% universities in Japan continue to maintain an independent university examination system. When choosing a school, you must make sure that the university has its own exams and what subjects to take.

Second, the application conditions at all stages of the university

1. First-class universities (top 9 universities)

Seven old imperial universities (Dongda, Kyoto University, Osaka, Tohoku, Nagoya, Hokkaido, Kyushu), Tokyo Industries and Joy.

Wish time: most of them are concentrated in165438+1end of October-65438+1beginning of October, with only one issue.

Wish requirements: different universities have different requirements for staying in the exam. Joey: The total score of the entrance exam (excluding description) is 680+, which can be understood as a threshold. Although Joey's TOEFL requires a minimum score of 48, it should be as high as possible. Liberal arts suggests TOEFL 70+, and science and engineering suggests TOEFL 80+. Except for the medical department, the total score required for staying in the exam is 90%, and TOEFL can challenge 90+.

2. The second kind of universities (universities around 10-20)

Public universities in China: Tsukuba, Kobe, Hiroshima, Chiba, Kanazawa, Okayama and Shouda.

Wish time: Chiba starts at 1 1, and the rest starts at 65438+2-1. Most of them have only one issue, and a few have two issues.

Private universities: Waseda, Keio and Shangzhi.

Wish time: Waseda in July, Keio and Shangzhi 65438+1end of October-165438+1beginning of October.

Wish requirements: For example, in the Economic Management Class of Yokohama National University, the test score is above 80%+TOEFL score. Some universities only submit TOEFL (foreign students do not require English) and inquire by major. It is recommended that students with a total score of 650 or above apply for the exam.

3. The third kind of universities (more than 20 -60 universities)

Public universities in China: Yokohama National University, tokyo university of foreign studies, Imperial Tea Women's University, Saitama University, Nagoya University of Technology.

Private universities: Meiji University, Tongshe University, Tokyo University of Science, Rikkyo University, Hosei University, Central University, Aoyama College University, Kansai University, Kansai College University,

Wish time: mostly in 65438+February -65438+ 10.

Wishing requirements: For example, the economic management major of Saitama University requires 280 points in Japanese+(excluding narrative) and 280 points in comprehensive+mathematics+. It is recommended that students with a total score of 600 or above take the exam. English depends on specific professional analysis. Some majors in a few private universities do not have to submit math scores.

4. The fourth kind of universities (universities of 6 1- 100)

Public universities in China: Ibaraki University, Yamanashi University, Utsunomiya University, Shizuoka University and Nagoya City University.

Private universities: Academy University, Feng Jingen University, Japanese University, Nanzan University, Toyo University and specialized universities.

Wish time: most public universities in China are in 65438+February-65438+1October. The first phase of private universities is in September -65438+ 10, and the second phase is around 65438+ 10.

Wish request:

Public universities in China are required to submit the test scores of all international students. Private universities can only test Japanese scores.

If it is economics and business, it is recommended to stay in Japanese (excluding description) around 300. Other liberal arts students suggest staying in Japanese (excluding narration) for 250 points+. Try to get more than 60% in mathematics comprehensive literature. Science and engineering can refer to Ibaraki University and require Japanese (including narrative)+mathematics+science with a total score of 550+. Of course, the lower ranked universities can be lower than this score, but not lower than the average score.

5. The fifth kind of universities (universities with 10 1-200)

On behalf of the university:

State-owned: Shang Yue Education University, Gunma Women's University, Shizuoka University, Kanagawa Welfare Health University.

Private: Feng Jingen University, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Kofu University, Ryosuke University, Toyo University, Lize University, Tokyo University, Donghai University, Asian University, Musashino University, Engineering University, tokyo institute of technology.

Wish time: Most of these universities are divided into two periods, the first period is September -65438+ 10, and the second period is about 65438+ 10.

Wish requirement: Some universities do not need to keep test scores, and there will be on-campus tests (mostly set in the first period). Most universities don't have clear regulations on the results of staying in the exam. Most universities with a ranking above 100 require scores above the average. Some universities that rank around 200 in liberal arts majors do not need to submit their examination results. However, the Japanese exam is very difficult now. It is suggested that Japanese should reach the level of N 1 before applying, otherwise the pass rate will be very low.

6. The Sixth University (Post-200)

Representative universities: Ming Xiu University, Tongyin Yokohama University, Shengde University, Sugino Women's University, Tsunami University, Dear University and Shude University.

Wish time: It is not recommended to apply for the first exam, but you can take the second or third exam. As a guaranteed college, it is mostly around February.

Wish requirement: basically, you only need to have N2 or stay in Japanese (200 points+), which is close to the university you can go to as long as you pay.

7. Category VII (Special Schools)

Without listing the name of the college in detail, some students want to study for one year, and if they fail to get good grades, they will continue to go to college, while others simply want to work.

Wish time: 3-4 periods in a better college, about 6 periods in a general college, and March at the latest.

Wish requirement: (3 choices 1) Leave the test results, N2, and take the on-campus test. Except for beginners of Japanese, they can basically pay for school.

Third, the postgraduate application conditions

1, apply for the qualification of Japanese graduate students.

Only four-year undergraduate graduates can apply for graduate students, and undergraduate graduates must hold valid diplomas and degree certificates. It is very unlikely that individual junior college students, self-taught candidates and students without degree certificates will directly apply for good national and public universities in Japan. However, these students can go to Japan through language schools first, and then apply for graduate students, which has a great chance of success.

Note: General graduate schools require students to have a bachelor's degree, but some schools do not. Some students have double college degrees. Although the cumulative study period in this case has reached four years, they still do not have the qualifications of Japanese graduate schools.

2. Requirements for students' Japanese proficiency

The minimum requirement for domestic graduate students to apply for Japan directly is Japanese level 2 or above. However, for liberal arts students, the Japanese level needs to reach the first level. The requirements for students majoring in science are slightly lower, but they also need to reach level 2 or above.

Although in theory, graduate students can do without language scores, from the experience, if there are no Japanese students, students who apply directly in China have almost no success rate.

3. Score requirements for entering Japanese universities.

At present, the average score of Japanese universities is not too high, but we must ensure that there are no failed subjects. The Japanese attach great importance to qualified scores. However, first-class universities still have to ensure that the average score is above 75 points because of competition. And it is better to have a higher and higher trend, if it is lower and lower, it will be bad.
