Yongxin County, which belongs to Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the west of Jiangxi Province, in the middle of Luo Xiao Mountains, adjacent to Xiangdong, Jinggangshan City in the south, Chaling County in Hunan Province in the west, Lianhua County in Pingxiang City in the northwest, Anfu County in the north, Ji 'an County in the east and Taihe County in the southeast. Yongxin County was called Wutou at the end of Chu in ancient times, and was founded in the ninth year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (2004). The name of the county comes from the Book of Rites, which means "the sun is always new". Yongxin is a famous "general county" in China, a central county in Jiangsu, an important part of Jinggangshan revolutionary base, the center of Hunan-Jiangxi revolutionary base, the resident of Hunan-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, the location of the adaptation of the Three Bays and the Battle of Longyuan Port.

Topography of Yongxin County:
The landform of Yongxin County is mainly mountainous and hilly, with high terrain in the north and south and low terrain in the middle, which inclines from the north and south sides to the middle. Nanling Mountain in the county belongs to Luo Xiao Mountain and its branches. Yongxin section of Luo Xiao Mountains is located in the southwest of Yongxin, which runs from Zhu Ling Depression in the north to Shifeng County in the south, and runs through Xixiang, a natural barrier between Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. Luo Xiao is named for its numerous peaks and clouds.
To the north of the Luo Xiao Mountains are: Zhu Ling Depression, 4 14 meters above sea level, which is rich in mountain mineral deposits and is regarded as a jewel by the world, hence the name; Wufoling, located on the border of Hunan and Jiangxi, is 605 meters above sea level, and the situation is dangerous. There is Monkey Ridge at the southern foot of Luo Xiao Mountain, which is located in the southwest of Sanwan Township, with an altitude of110m. The forest is deep and monkeys haunt it, hence the name; Shifengxian, at an altitude of1344m, is the second highest peak in the county. Because of its rugged peaks and temples at the top of the mountain, it is named Shifengxian.
