General situation of teaching and research section of Marxist theory

The historical origin of the courses offered by the Marxist Theory Teaching and Research Section (hereinafter referred to as the Marxist-Leninist Department) can be traced back to the political theory courses offered during the Yan 'an Academy of Natural Sciences, which laid a good foundation for the teaching of Marxist theory courses. During the period of Engineering College of North China University, courses such as new democracy, history of social development, dialectical materialism and historical materialism were offered. The predecessor of the Marxism-Leninism Department is the first teaching and research section directly under the college established by 1952, which offers three courses of Marxist theory: political economy, Marxism-Leninism foundation (that is, United front party history) and new democratic theory. There are four teaching and research sections, namely, political economy, philosophy, the history of China's history and dialectics of nature, and three courses, namely, China's revolutionary history, China's socialist construction and Marxist principles. The moral education teaching and research section offers situations and tasks, basic knowledge of law and dialectics. 1987 the Ministry of social sciences merged with the teaching and research section of moral education and the institute of humanities and social sciences to form the department of humanities and social sciences, which consists of five teaching and research sections, namely, history, political economy, philosophy, dialectics of nature and moral education, and offers the history of China's modern revolution, China's socialist economic construction, Marxist philosophy, situation and policies, college students' ideological cultivation and legal basis. 1In July, 1999, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences was established, which consists of the Social Sciences Department, the Law Department, the Foreign Languages Department, and the College of Higher Education. The Ministry of Social Sciences consists of philosophy teaching and research section, economics, history, ideological and political education and philosophy of science and technology teaching and research section, which mainly undertakes the teaching and research of two basic courses, namely, political theory course and humanistic quality education for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as the discipline construction, professional construction and personnel training of related humanities and social sciences majors. In June 2009, the teaching and research section of Marxist theory was established, which mainly undertakes the construction of ideological and political theory courses and Marxist theory disciplines for all undergraduates.
