Xi University of Architecture and Technology is an undergraduate university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), located in Yanta District, Xi City, Shaanxi Province. The school, formerly known as the Civil Engineering Department of the Command College of China People's Liberation Army Corps of Engineers, was founded in 1949. 1956 changed its name to the Department of Civil Engineering affiliated to Beijing Institute of Architecture and Technology, and 1978 moved to its current address.
